By their very nature, marble, quartzite and granite, extracted from a quarry, present themselves with characteristics beyond our control such as for example color, size, grain, cracks, thickness etc. Marble and granite, like any other stone quarried, were taken from carefully selected blocks and extracted from mother earth. It should be understood then that, as a natural stone, such a product may have small imperfections which occur naturally and which are an integral part of the characteristics of the stone. These characteristics can be variations in colors or tones, geological defects, irregular marks, voids, veins, cracks, minor separation lines. It is common practice for the manufacturer to attempt to mitigate these variations by using one of the following techniques: waxing, filling and adding rods. All of these characteristics and variations are common and present to some extent. However, all of these small variations are an intrinsic part of the stone's natural beauty and will in no way alter the function or strength of the material. It is therefore agreed that Granit Dépôt Plus will not be held responsible for the natural characteristics of marble, quartzite and granite materials as described in this text.

 

-The installation of the countertops is carried out by master installers and the sealing of the joint has a limited warranty for a period of 1 (one) from the date of installation.

 

-The installation of the sink is guaranteed for a period of 1 (one) year from the date of installation.

 

-The warranty applies only to the original purchaser of the counter.

 

-The manufacturer's warranty does not apply to improper use but to normal use. See the Maintenance section for related recommendations.

 

-Samples are representative of the final product and according to industry standard slight variations are to be expected.

 

-The thickness of 3cm raw or 2cm gross are the industry standard. The granite / marble / quartzite slabs, depending on the country of origin, may vary in thickness slightly. Once the polishing is finished, the final thickness will be between 2.7 cm and 3 cm for the 3 cm raw and between 1.7 cm and 2 cm for the 2 cm raw.
